Question:
My battery is not holding a charge. What should I do?

Answer:
Battery problems can be linked to a number of factors. Reception and talk time are the main factors that affect the battery life. It may be a building that tends to block the signal due to the nature of its structure. It may also be that the strength of the signal may be particularly weak in that specific area. Geographic conditions, internal software and tower placement play a significant role in how well the phone grabs and maintains a signal. Most reception problems can be addressed by contacting your local service provider to update your PRL on the phone. Note: This option is only available to Sprint (*2 Talk from the Sprint phone) and Verizon (*228 Send from the Verizon phone.) customers. The display light can also affect the battery life. It is best to turn down the light time. The vibrate ringer can also affect the battery life. If you feel there are more than just the above factors at work then please call Samsung Technical Support at 1-800-SAMSUNG and we will assist you in having the phone repaired.
