The Wireless Terminals Laboratory (WTL) is part of Samsung's global R&D team responsible for the development of advanced software solutions for wireless terminal devices. WTL provides opportunities for both Research, which includes inventing technologies that may be used in future products, and Development, which includes producing well-specified products that will ship within one year. WTL provides a team environment in which all members benefit from the experience and ideas of others.

The Advanced Technology Laboratory - Next Generation Network Technologies

The Advanced Technology Laboratory (ATL) is part of the global Samsung R&D team responsible for the development of advanced technology and solutions products that provide voice, data, and multimedia services over wire-line and wireless networks for our customers. ATL provides the following R&D tasks:

  • Research and develop system requirements
  • System architecture design
  • Software and hardware design, implementation, and integration testing
  • Standards body participation
  • North American customer and marketing support
  • Monitor telecommunications network and technology trend
  • Propose new products and develop new network infrastructure technology
